About Me

Hi, I'm Beth.

I've been sewing, experimenting, and occasionally failing spectacularly on the internet for over ten years. That's not a disclaimer — it's kind of the whole point.

110 Creations started as a place to share what I was making and learning as a self-taught sewist. It grew into something bigger: a genuine lifestyle built around the idea that crafting is for everyone, that trying new things matters more than getting them perfect, and that the handmade world is better when people are generous with what they know.

That was 13 years ago. These days I still sew. I also knit, do macrame, make jewelry, and occasionally disappear down a Cricut or dollhouse rabbit hole. I work with what interests me, and I think that curiosity is exactly what makes me useful to the businesses I work with.

What I do for craft businesses

I'm a freelance virtual assistant and marketing strategist specializing in the home crafting space — sewing, quilting, yarn, fabric, and beyond. I work with indie pattern designers, fabric shops, yarn shops, and sewing educators who need marketing help from someone who understands their world. I've been published in Sew News, We Like Sewing, and other industry blogs.

After a decade of being a customer, a community member, and a content creator in this space, I know how crafters think, what they respond to, and what feels authentic versus what falls flat. That insider knowledge is something you can't get from a general VA, and it makes a difference in the work.

I offer ongoing support, one-off projects, and digital resources for businesses at every stage. If you're not sure what you need yet, that's fine too. I offer a free Discovery Call and I promise it's a real conversation, not a sales pitch.

A few things I believe in

I think generosity makes everything better. I share what I know freely; on the blog, in my digital shop, and with every client. I also believe in transparency: about pricing, about process, and about whether I'm the right fit for what you need. If I'm not, I'll tell you.

And I believe in trying things even when you might fail. Ten years of self-taught crafting will do that to you.

A quick note about links and ads. Occasionally, I use affiliate links when discussing products I've used. These affiliates have no impact on my reviews or comments--my thoughts are entirely my own. If you purchase an item through an affiliate link, your price is the same, but I will receive a small commission. Which I will promptly use to purchase fabric and make more projects for this site. Thank you for your support!

    1. Hi Sarah! Sometimes I just make a bunch of sketches and then go back and fill in the details later. I get excited too, so it helps to get the ideas out of my head and on to paper! I can't wait to see your review :)

  3. Hi Sarah.....I just ordered the Notebook....and I'm looking forward to getting it. I did have a problem with placing the order - where the link to order wasn't noticable... To reduce any possible frustrations might I suggest actually labeling the link. I almost gave up on my order when I decided to give it one more try. I do order a LOT of items online and most places offer an obvious link to their products..."BUY ME" kind of image/link.. HUGS

    1. Hi Arlene! I'm not sure if you meant to comment on my blog or on Sarah's (at Goodbye Valentino). I went ahead and added a more obvious link. Thank you for your feedback!
