I believe this denim is closer to 10% stretch but I need to double check with a stretch guide. 110 Creationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12740139592563988097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8733005898566155607.post-7543969361126751732016-12-11T14:43:22.245-05:002016-12-11T14:43:22.245-05:00Hi Minn! First I needed to remove the excess length, just cuffing them didn't work. Next, I ended up needing to let them out around the calf. They were too tight there, which pushed them up towards the knee and caused wrinkling all over. I'll do another post with more details.110 Creationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12740139592563988097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8733005898566155607.post-63405726874756993932016-12-11T05:51:41.270-05:002016-12-11T05:51:41.270-05:00Hi Beth-- If you've used a denim with less tha...Hi Beth-- If you've used a denim with less than the 15-20% stretch that Named recommends for Jamie Jeans, you probably will need to let them out to give yourself more wearing ease. If the fabric stretches out as it ages, you can always take them in again. You may not like the back leg wrinkles but if the fabric is stiff, you probably need the extra vertical ease for sitting down. By the way, there are stretch charts available online that are handy for gauging the stretch of your fabric before you cut into it. I hope some tinkering will get your jeans to feel as good as they look. --Martha T.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8733005898566155607.post-88720157967620115692016-12-10T12:50:55.090-05:002016-12-10T12:50:55.090-05:00I have exactly the same problem with a pair I made...I have exactly the same problem with a pair I made.
